Loch Morlich Named as one of Scotland’s Top Beaches
We were delighted to hear that Loch Morlich beach was voted as one of the best in Scotland, receiving the ‘Excellent’ award by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA).
Resting at the foot of the CairnGorm Mountain, around 8km from Aviemore, Loch Morlich beach is the highest beach in the UK and the only freshwater beach to have received the award.
It’s a great sandy beach for families and is also a popular spot for watersports enthusiasts with boats, canoes and windsurfing activities available.
