Posted by Hilton Coylumbridge, October, 2014

New Year’s Eve tends to be one of those celebrations where you either go all out with a swanky party or stay at home watching TV. But how about something different this year? How about bringing in 2015 in a completely different setting – perhaps in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands?

We’ve got the perfect place for you to stay, just keep reading and we will tell you why you should join us here at Hilton Coylumbridge in Aviemore this Hogmanay.

Experience a Scottish Hogmanay

Whether you are Scottish or from somewhere else you’re sure to appreciate the fun and distinct customs we have in this part of the world. When you arrive we’ve got a piper welcoming you with traditional bagpipe tunes and after our Gala Dinner on New Year’s Eve there will be some traditional ceilidh so you can dance the night away. Just after midnight we’ve got more Scottish pipe music to bring in the New Year. Not to mention that you will be welcoming the New Year surrounded by the stunning Cairngorms National Park in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. Aye, sounds good doesn’t it?

You can bring the kids too

If you want to celebrate Hogmanay with the whole family, including children, that is no problem at all. Hilton Coylumbridge is a family friendly hotel with lots of activities for children to keep them thoroughly occupied throughout your stay – after a day at the ski slopes or playing in the snow your little ones will be knackered! Our spacious family rooms have two double beds and our family suites come with a separate kids’ room with bunk beds and TV. Read more about our family accommodation.

Combine with skiing holiday in Aviemore

Hilton Coylumbridge is actually the nearest hotel to the ski slopes in Aviemore, which makes it the perfect base if you’d like to give skiing or snowboarding a go. We’ve got a regular bus service to and from the hotel, as well as a complimentary drying room for your ski clothes and equipment. Don’t worry if you’re new to skiing, you can book ski lessons at the dry ski slope on the resort grounds, and practise there before you hit the real slopes. Learning how to ski or snowboard is a perfect way to start a new year!
